Congressman Ben Cline has been appointed to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence by Speaker Mike Johnson.
Created in 1977, HPSCI is charged with oversight of the U.S. Intelligence Community -- which includes the intelligence and intelligencerelated activities of the 18 elements of the U.S. Government -- and the military intelligence program.
Cline will continue to serve on the House Committee on Appropriations, the House Committee on Judiciary, and the House Committee on the Budget.
