Los Tres Músicos Return To W&L
The SonoKlect Series will present the return of Los Tres Músicos on Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. in Wilson Hall on the campus of Washington and Lee University.
The concert is free and offers an opportunity to experience an evening of world-class chamber music.
This performance will feature Jasper Wood on violin, Jesús Morales on cello, and David Riley on piano, three distinguished artists renowned for their collaborative performances and technical prowess.
The highlight of the evening will be the world premiere of “Wanderlust,” a new composition by Terry Vosbein, written specifically for the trio. work explores themes of movement, longing, and the expansive journey of the human spirit.
Also featured on the program will be Vosbein’s “Trio No. 2,” a piece composed for Los Tres Músicos 30 years ago. The trio’s long relationship with Vosbein is a testament to their deep connection as artists and collaborators.
In addition, the program will include “Currents” by Steven James, a dynamic work reflecting the flow of energy and emotion, and “Trio for Now and Then” byYuri Bortz, a composition that bridges time and tradition with its poignant and engaging melodies.
Following the performance, there will be a reception, providing an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the artists and composer.
