Feb. 7, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: Our era will be known as the Deeply Stupid, led by a narcissist who loves two things: the sound of his own voice, braying nonsense. And money.
He has no policies, since policies require thought, of which he is incapable. Speaking for mere minutes, he spouts incoherence and his go-to, lies. About everything and everyone.
A narcissist, he has surrounded himself with those most willing to flatter him. When he’s wrong, supporters lie for him, or he says he didn’t say or do it. His “advisers” are looking to make the next killing, led by Musk and the “billionaires,” lined up to loot the government and the economy. Republicans in Congress have abandoned oaths to the Constitution in pursuit of reelection and cushy consulting jobs.
His “advisers” don’t believe in government, don’t think competence is necessary and are dismissive of law and constitutionality. The Supreme Court, telling him he can’t be prosecuted, has allowed him the ultimate treasonous dream, uncreating citizenship.
Interviews of the numbskulls attending his rallies revealed the Deeply Clueless, who aren’t going to get a Christian nation or lower prices, because he was lying about that too.
No whining from deep red voters. They got exactly what they asked for, a conman who told them whatever they wanted to hear.
Tariffs raise the price everyone pays. Deporting 25 million will cost us a trillion dollars. MAGAs, those people do jobs you won’t do. They pay taxes. He’s planning to cut your programs and raise your taxes, so he and other billionaires don’t have to pay taxes. He publicly bragged about his reptile self his whole life, but you never thought the snake would bite you.
He won’t deliver, but he will blame someone else, as usual.
