The Rockbridge County High School girls basketball team earned a 42-34 road win over Valley District rival William Monroe on Friday night in Stanardsville.
It was the third consecutive win for the Wildcats (11-11 overall, 5-8 district), who completed a sweep of the season series with the Dragons (6-16, 2-12). When the teams met on Jan. 17 in Lexington, RC won 37-23.
In the rematch, Ruby Goodhart led RC with 21 points and seven rebounds, while Bella Dorey and Natalie Samante each scored six points for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats will conclude the regular season when they play at East Rockingham on Saturday, with the varsity game only at 2:30 p.m.
