Trump’s ‘Current Attack More Difficult To Defeat’

Feb. 14, 2025 Editor, The News-Gazette: After President Trump’s minions unsuccessful assault on our nation’s democracy, he and his sycophants plotted another more refined, effective approach.

Now, rather than physically attacking our government, Trump has unleashed a Blitzkrieg on its mechanisms, violating the underpinnings of the Constitution.

This time, rather than a disruptive mob, his accomplices include a complicit Republican Congress, a compliant Supreme Court, a group of power-hungry tech bros, and an ill-informed populace. After Jan. 6, principled individuals stymied Trump’s ambitions.
