Lexington
Cottage Housing Ordinance Forwarded
The Lexington Planning Commission unanimously approved a proposed ordinance to allow cottage housing developments within the city of Lexington during its regular meeting on Feb. 13.
The ordinance will allow developments of no less than four cottages containing no more than three bedrooms as a conditional use in all of the city’s residential zoning districts.
Jon Eastwood made the motion to approve the ordinance and pass it to the City Council for further review, and Krista Anderson provided the second. The ordinance will come before City Council at a future meeting.
