Thank you to everyone who helped get the fellowship hall set up for worship on Sunday morning at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. Thank you to all who joined with the praise team for singing “Spring Up, O Well” (Ray and Joann Blouin, Karen Duff, Tim Hodges, Laura Hotinger, Sara Dunlap, Casey Clark, and Rachel Clark). Thank you to Calvin Clark for accompanying on the French horn for singing “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross.”
Tuesday Morning Prayer Group, Men’s Group Wednesday morning at Sweet Treats, and Wednesday Bible Study at church at 5:15 is back on schedule! The Men’s Group is studying Tim Keller’s book “Counterfeit Gods,” and the Tuesday morning group is studying Mandy Smith’s Unfettered, about having a childlike faith.
Laura and Alex will be meeting at the church this Saturday March 1 at 2 p.m. to work on props for the play. Anyone interested is welcome to come help.
Youth will meet at church on Saturday, March 8, at 10 a.m. to go to the Maple Festival. Call Janeen and Tim Welsh if you are planning to attend.
The annual pancake dinner will be on Tuesday, March 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. Donations of regular sized toiletries will be taken. They will be donated to the high school and health center.
Ash Wednesday service will be Wednesday, March 5, at 6 p.m. Lunch Bunch will meet on Tuesday, March 11, at Golden Garden at 12:30 p.m.
Music Sunday will be March 30. Let Rachel and Casey know if you are interested in sharing music. A potluck lunch will be held after the service.
