Trinity Plans Service, Book Discussion

Trinity United Methodist Church in Lexington will have an Ash Wednesday service, today, March 5, at 7 p.m.

Next Tuesday, the church will begin offering a fiveweek, pastor-led discussion of the book “Fear of the Other: No Fear in Love” by Will Willimon. The discussions will be held at noon on each of those Tuesdays.

In this very short, “no nonsense” book, Bishop Will Willimon invites readers to consider the gospel command to love (and not merely tolerate) those considered to be “Other” or outside mainstream Christian culture.
