The Collierstown United Methodist Church would like to thank all who purchased take out meals or came to the church to dine in at their spring spaghetti dinner fundraiser held on Saturday evening, March 8. Patrons enjoyed spaghetti, tossed salad, bread, a variety of desserts, and assorted beverages. Proceeds from the event will be used for ministry and mission projects.

The Palmer Community Center located at 1230 Blue Grass Trail, Lexington, will be the location for a free community dinner March 19 provided by Rockbridge CAN (Rockbridge Connect and Nourish). The meal will be served from 6 to 7 p.m. It is a dine-in event served by the Lexington Catering Company. Those needing transportation may call (540) 463-3346 to arrange a free ride to and from the event.

The Collierstown United Methodist Church will host a concert by The Crestmen, a Southern Gospel group based in Staunton, on Sunday, March 30, at 2 p.m. Community residents and those from the surrounding area are invited to attend the concert at no charge. The Crestmen have performed across the United States and have appeared on RFD-TV and WHSV TV 3 in the Shenandoah Valley. A free-will offering will be taken.
