Wild Game Dinner This Saturday
Marlbrook Baptist Church in Raphine will hold a free Wild Game Dinner this Saturday, March 15, starting at 5 p.m.
The menu will include deer, trout, saltwater fish, frog legs, crawfish, alligator, and Kenny’s fried chicken. There will possibly be bear, wild turkey, squirrel, and raccoon, as well.
The event will also feature two speakers, Chris Thompson of CT Outdoors and Pastor Mason Jordan from Natural Bridge Baptist Church.
Door prizes will include coolers, tumblers, knives, air guns, and more. There will be a free gift for everyone who attends, as well as an additional gift for those under 12 years old.
Clothes Closet Open Saturday
The First Baptist Church clothes closet will be open on Saturday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to noon. Donations are welcome and all clothes are free of charge.
The church is located at 103 N. Main St. in downtown Lexington. Rose Watts is the coordinator and the Rev. McKinley Williams is the pastor. For more information, call the church at (540) 4634854.

Faith Mountain Baptist Church is having a community revival this coming week. The schedule is as follows: March 16, 10:45 a.m. - Special music by Chris Norris and Faith Mountain children’s choir.
March 16, 6 p.m. - Special music by Ladies of Mercy.
March 17, 7 p.m. - Special music by Bruce Allen and Tim Wallace.
March 18, 7 p.m. - Special music by Grant Bryant.
March 18, 7 p.m. - Special music by Grant Bryant, Mickey Kirkland and Ralph Coleman.
