The Rockbridge Chorus, under the direction of William McCorkle, will present a spring concert on Sunday, April 23, at 7 p.m. at Lexington Presbyterian Church. The program will focus on 20thcentury English choral works with brass instruments and organ. Guest organist will be Peggy Haas Howell.

The USDA Forest Service, in partnership with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources, will host Cave Mountain Lake’s annual Kids Fishing Day on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to noon. The lake will be stocked with trout in advance of this event open to children ages 3 to 15.

The ball field at Rivermont School Rockbridge in Fairfield will officially be named and dedicated this Saturday in honor of the late Jerry Mace, a longtime teacher and coach at Rockbridge High School.
