RICH ANDERSON
He was born in Flint, Mich., on Nov. 1, 1946, to Richard Francis Anderson and Doris Brabbs Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was retired from the U.S. Navy and Virginia Power. He was owner and operator of Chestnut Woodcrafters in Rockbridge Baths, where they lived for 40 years.
Surviving are his wife and high school sweetheart of 57 years, Nancy Wallis Anderson; two daughters, Susan Camden (Paul) and Laura Marino (Ron); one son, Richard Trevor Anderson (Andrea); five grandchildren, Brianna Marino, Alyssa Marino, Joshua Logan Camden, Richard Anthony Anderson and Theresa Marie Anderson and his beloved dog, Annie.
A memorial service was conducted Sunday, Feb. 25, at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel in Winston-Salem by the Rev. Katharine Martin.
