PATRICK O’HARE
PATRICK O’HARE
He was born Dec. 7, 1952, in Oklahoma, a son of the late Joseph and Joan Brannon O’Hare.
He was a graduate of the University of Dayton and completed his law degree at Washington and Lee University. Prior to earning his law degree, he was a Peace Corps volunteer for four years in St. Lucia, West Indies, and Togo in West Africa.
Mr. O’Hare served in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps for over 20 years. He continued his career as a civilian at the JAG Legal Center and School in Charlottesville and retired in August of 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sara Deaver O’Hare; son, Patrick Andrew O’Hare of Richmond; his brothers, Joseph O’Hare III of Silver Spring, Md., Kevin O’Hare of Falls Church, and Michael O’Hare of Montgomery Village, Md.
There will be a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lexington on Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at University Chapel at Washington and Lee University at noon with a reception to follow. N-G
