As a Quaker and a member of Goose Creek Meeting, his life reflected his strong belief in working toward peaceful solutions to conflict. David was an avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed hiking and traveling with his wife. He was also creative, expressed via tenderly caring for his vineyard, native rewilding both his own garden and areas in the towns he lived, and working with wood to make beautiful custom furniture for family members.
