CHARLOTTE SORRELS 

Charlotte Lucille Ramsey Sorrels, 76, of Buena Vista, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2024. 

Born December 21, 1947, in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of Tompkins Alexander Ramsey and Christine Elizabeth Truslow Ramsey.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Sorrels Sr. 

Surviving are son, Thomas E. Sorrels Jr. (Karen); a daughter, Kelly Stalnaker (Tim); five grandchildren, Kelsey Sorrels, Olivia Sorrels, Abigail Sorrels, Sydney Avveduti and Allison Stalnaker; seven great-grandchildren, Peydon, Bryson and Braelynn Sorrels, Raegan and Brynley Clark, Charlotte and Luca Avveduti; sister, Becky Ogden; and brother, Billy Ramsey. 

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 15, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by Pastor Tim Stalnaker. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.
