John Edward Keith, 71, of Buena Vista died Thursday, April 26, 2024, at his home.

Born Oct. 30, 1952, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Luther William Keith and Frances Johnson Keith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Jane Keith; grandparents, Luther and Zettie Keith and Fred and Nellie Johnson; mother-in-law, Faye Camden, and father-in-law, Plynn Camden; and canine daughter "Buffy."

Surviving are his wife, Felicia Keith; son, Damien "D.J." Keith (Jennifer); grandson, John Luke Keith; granddaughters, Aubri Keith and Jordyn Clark; great-grandson, Daxton Clark; brother, Kenneth Keith (Nancy); aunts, Ruthanne Holley, Marie Austin and Kathy Semales; sister-in-law, Sandra Camden; numerous nieces and nephews; and special canine daughter Lexi Ann.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. David Bain, with burial following at Rockbridge MemorialGardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Connections Plus (Hospice) 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
