PHILIP LOUVIER
PHILIP LOUVIER
Born on Feb. 26, 1947, in Illinois, he was a son of James W. Louvier and Geraldine Link Louvier.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Louvier.
Philip was a 40-year veteran of the United States Army, receiving numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career. He was an avid golfer, roller coaster enthusiast (especially with Savannah), had a love for trains especially his “N-Gauge,” he could fix just about anything (if he couldn’t he’d read about it and try again), loved to buy and sell cars (all 151-plus), he never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand or a tool to help. He loved his “ponds family” dinners and the fire pit.
Surviving are his wife Bonnie L. Louvier; a daughter, Michelle Webb(Darrin); a granddaughter, Savannah Webb; brother Greg Louvier (Karen) and sister Patti Louvier, both of Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 20, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be directed to a cancer research foundation of your choice.
Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
