Born July 18, 1947, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of late Tom Lotts and Nellie Strickler Lotts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hartless.

She was a member of McElwee Chapel. She is survived by her brother, Ray Lotts.

A memorial service will be conducted today, Wednesday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Chapel by Dorsey Hostetter. Burial will follow at the McElwee Chapel Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
