LUCAS SMITH
LUCAS SMITH
He was born on Feb. 9, 2008, in Lexington. He was the son of William McKinley Smith and Lynette Marie Hall.
Lucas was the kind of teenager who stood out in a crowd with shorts and no shirt, and untied boots. He would drag his feet to just to hear the clank they made walking down the hallway. He loved the sounds of fast cars, burnouts, and smoke flying. Some of his favorite things were his beloved dog, “Bella,” swimming, fishing, hunting, and riding in his daddy’s truck with music playing. He also loved Pokémon, “The Walking Dead,” Hot Wheels and making the ones he loved laugh. He had no fear in the world. If anyone needed him, he was always there.
He was his daddy’s mini me and his Mama’s world.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beverly Armentrout, Rose Marie Taylor and Robert Stevenson; aunts Joyce Smith and Pat Smith; and uncles Sandy Smith and Pie Smith.
He is survived by his father, William McKinley Smith (Danielle); his mother, Lynette Hall (Wesley); grandparents, Betty Coleman (Donald), Pamela Hall and Tyrone Smith; stepgrandparents, Nancy and David Hartless, Kenneth and Nina Coffey; his brothers and sisters, John Rhodenizer, Levi Hall, Logan Hall, Darian Thompson Mackenzie Goodbar and Kaylee Smith; stepbrothers, Peyton Coffey and Christopher Henson; several special aunts and uncles, Patty Branham, Patrick Smith (Misty), Jessica Mook (DW), Mary Beth Gutshall (Chris), Robbie Branham (Shelley), Sandra Huber, Patience Stepp, Jennifer Moore, Ashley Watkins (Demetre), Andrew Smith (Chasity), Bruce Smith, Melvin Branham, Calvin Clark (Crystal), Donald Watkins and Travis Watkins; special friends, Cody Willoughby (Dallas), James Lee, Daniel Thomas, Danny Aiden, Liam Clark and Bill Sensabaugh.
