Sending birthday wishes to my father-inlaw, Dr. Richard Gardner in Buena Vista, and his sister, Rosanne Christiansen in South Jordan, Utah, as well as to St. John’s Episcopal Church member Dave VanOsten.

Faith Baptist Church is having a Men’s Prayer Breakfast this morning at 8. There will be a Ladies Circle meeting on June 11 at 6 p.m.

Many thanks to Brandall Branch for leading a Morning Prayer service this past Sunday at St. John’s. Thanks, also, to Bert Buford and Josh Gardner for providing music and to the Branch family for hosting coffee hour.

My most heartfelt condolences go out to my grandmother, Frances Brown, on the loss of her beloved cat, Blue Bells. He was a gray and white tuxedo patterned American Shorthair. He passed away in my grandmother’s arms early Sunday morning from kidney failure. He was 9 years old.
