VICTOR FARRIS
VICTOR FARRIS
Victor was a Rockbridge County native, born on March 16, 1957.
Victor loved his family, the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter. Victor cultivated a successful painting business in Rockbridge County for more than 40 years.
He was a man of few words with a tight circle of close friends. There won’t ever be anyone else quite like him. He was adored by his family and you would know if you were one of the few he liked.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mawmaw Greene; mother, Barbara Jo, and father, Vernon; and brothers Roger and Gary.
He is survived by Robin, his devoted wife of 47 years; two beloved sons, Damien (Kara), and Caleb (Dina); two grandsons, Zac and Link; siblings, Debbie (David), Tony (Marilyn), Kimbal (Pauline), and Eric; and sister inlaws Evelyn and Brenda. Victor took a lot of pride having such a wonderful extended family, including 14 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Fairfield Fire and Rescue in Victor’s memory.
We invite you to join us in celebrating his life in a hilltop ceremony on Sunday, June 16, at 3 p.m. at 82 Ridgeview Lane (at the top of the road) with a casual reception to follow. As Victor lived, come casually to celebrate and be together! NG
