ANNIE COLEMAN

Annie Lucille Coleman, 100, of Lexington died Thursday, June 20, 2024, at her home. She was born Jan. 6, 1924, the daughter of James Henry Reynolds and Lelia Ethel Hepler Reynolds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howe Reese Coleman Jr., and daughters Dorothy Truslow and Deborah Biggs.

Annie was a member of the Collierstown Baptist Church and retired from Dr. H. R. Coleman, optometrist as a secretary.

Surviving are her children, Betty J. Gray, Joyce A. Grissom, Lelia A. Reid, Dinah L. Masters and Clarence E. Masters; 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by Eddie Irvine. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends one hour before the service.
