Born on Feb. 10, 1946, he was a son of the late Alexander and Anna Maybelle Clark Plogger.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Penny Plogger Smith Farrish.

Surviving are his wife, Katie Lou Floyd Plogger; daughter Paula Plogger Robertson; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and brother Kenneth Plogger.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 15, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Dean Staton. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the funeral home.
