CHARLES AREHART

Charles Owen Arehart, 88, of Buena Vista died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024. 

Born on July 6, 1936, he was a son of Eugene Owen Arehart and Mary Bayne Arehart.

Charles was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church and a Dallas Cowboys fan. He cherished the time he spent with his family, watching his grandchildren grow up, and he loved his pets.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Winston Arehart; children Judy Knick (Tim), Kelly Arehart-Reid and Charles "Chip" Arehart (Laurie); five grandchildren, Kaelyn Elizabeth Kang (Evan), Miller Winston Arehart, Noah Eugene Knick, Nicholas Loven Reid and Owen James Arehart.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery by the Rev. Mike Dorsey.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Augusta Health for the care given to Mr. Arehart.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
