Born on Feb. 1, 1946, he was a son the late Emma May Brown Whipple and Arthur Whipple.

He was a member of the Willington Baptist Church, and worked in maintenance at Mohawk for several years.

Surviving are his nieces, Brenda Wines and Dawn Paul, and sisters Rose and Alice.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
