Born in Rockbridge County July 17, 1937, she was a daughter of Lelia Sorrells Clark and Ashby L. Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded her in death by her husband, Garland Lee “Bud” Smith Sr., five brothers and three sisters.

She was a faithful member of Greater Vision Pentecostal Assembly Church in Buena Vista.

Surviving are her children, Elizabeth Arleen Camden, Ricky Clark, and “Lee” Smith and wife Paula; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Tom Clark and wife; sister- inlaw, Linda Clark; and bother-inlaw, Raymond Sorrells.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, at Greater Vision Pentecostal Assembly Church by Pastor Steve Ramsey. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
