Vickie Coleman Hickman, 63, of Vesuvius, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024. 

Born July 29, 1961, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth E. Coleman and Elma “Tootie” Williams Coleman.

She was a deputy clerk for the commissioner of revenue of AmherstCounty.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Kenneth Newton “Nug” Hickman Jr.; children, Ruth Virginia Hickman Warlitner (Travis) and Mary Katherine Hickman Sandidge (Malik); and brother, Kenneth E. Coleman Jr. (Lisa).

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at CalvaryBrethren Church with the Rev. Joel Ward and the Rev. Rick Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Oronoco Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
