She was a daughter of the late Beatrice Evelyn Carver Miller and Lohr Kenneth Miller.

Surviving are her children Nial James Bauernfeind and Melvin Lohr Bauernfeind; brother Grant Miller; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Per her request, there will be no visitation and a private service at McElwee Church.
