Arline Viola Naff Stratton, 91, of Maidens died Monday, Oct. 7, 2024.

She was born June 19, 1933, a daughter of David Naff and Viola Absher Naff.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Walker Stratton, and son, David Wayne Stratton.

Arline was a mother and computer programmer.

Surviving her are daughters, Carol S. Jones and Mary S. Shortt (Joel); her siblings, Glenn Naff, Nareta Naff Harris, Gayle Naff and Peggy Naff Hazelwood, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 10, at Harrison Funeral Home. Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at Westhampton Memorial Park, Richmond.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.

PATSY PLOGGER

Patsy Camden Plogger, 83, of Lexington, born June 13, 1941, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, in the comfort of her home after a short illness. She was the daughter of Frank Camden and Mamie Virginia Mays Camden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Timothy E. Plogger; sisters Sue Bennett and Wilbur Dudley, and Betty Conner (Joe); nephew Michael Conner; and niece Kathy Sue Nappi.

Patsy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clarence Plogger; son Darrell Plogger (Christina) of Lexington; daughter-in-law, Donna Plogger of Forest; brothers, Edward Camden (Donna), and Frank Camden; sister, Martha Huffman (Johnny) of Lexington; granddaughters, Lindsey Plogger Merryman (Jonathan) of Davidson, N.C., and Lexi Plogger of Forest; grandsons, Tyler Plogger of Lexington, and Aaron Plogger of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; three great granddaughters, Presley, Charlee and Lily Merryman of Davidson, N.C. Surviving also are several nieces, nephews, and a grand niece, Victoria Wright of Covington, and a grand nephew, Josh Nappi of Waynesboro.

The family would like to give special thanks to Amedisys Hospice of Roanoke and Christina Plogger.

A funeral was conducted Monday, Oct. 14, at Harrison Funeral Home by Pastor Justin Clements. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Amedisys Hospice of Roanoke, 5221 Valleypark Drive, Suite 1A, Roanoke, VA 24019.
