RAY CLEMENTS

Leonard R. “Ray” Clements, 82, formerly of Buena Vista, who was living in New Port Rickey, Fla., at the time of his death, passed away with his son by his side on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024.

Born Dec. 15 1941, in Rockbridge County, he was the son of Leonard K. Clements and Ruth Crist Clements.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Carter Clements, and son, James Kenny Clements.

Surviving are his son, Lenny Clements and his wife Joann; two grandchildren, Christopher Ray Clements and his wife Penny of Gretna and Heather Nicole Clements of Buena Vista; four great-grandchildren, Cameron, Kaylee, Caden and Colin; one brother, Mike Clements of Buena Vista; and one sister, Wendy “Gay” Browning of Blacksburg.
