FRANCIS BURKE

Francis Wendell Burke, of Fairfield died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024. 

He was born Jan. 19, 1929, a son of Bessie Myrtle Dudley Burke and Frank M. Burke.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his life-long partner, Kathleen Lineberry, and his siblings, Edwin Burke, Melvin Burke, Mildred Burke Fauber and Mary Burke Dixon.

He was a member of Timber Ridge A.R. Presbyterian Church. He loved his family, gardening and cattle farming.

Surviving him are Larry and Jeannie Lineberry; grandson, Shannon Lineberry and wife Dana and their daughter Ariel; granddaughter Joyce Dyer and husband Shaun and their four children, Peyton, Madison, Campbell and Colt; grandson Larry Wayne Lineberry and wife Alex and their son Caleb; nephews and nieces; and special friends, Lisa and Ken.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at Timber Ridge A.R. Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Ron Ellis.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
