Born Dec. 19, 1943, in Mexico City, he studied at the University of Texas atAustin and completed his master’s degree at Oklahoma State. Having many achievements, his proudest was having CFLAafter his name. He taught valuations to CPAs in 33 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and Canada, and published two books on valuation. He was also a veteran of the Marine Corps.

In their home facing the Blue Ridge Mountains in Lexington, he lived with his wife Dorothy Beckert. His pastimes included reading, writing and researching, and he was a diehard Texas Longhorns fan.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Lexington.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov 16, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Damien C. Grout.
