LUCRETIA FRESQUEZ
Born Sept. 25, 1939, in South Carolina, she was the daughter of Curlee H. Rose and Jessie Peyton Rose of Glasgow.
She is survived by her loving, attentive husband P.J. Fresquez of Lexington, as well as one daughter, Krisha Pillow (Frank) of Linden; stepdaughter Michelle Greco (Brian) of Winter Springs, Fla.; and three step-grandchildren, Madison O’Neil (Tommy) of Roanoke and Morgan and Zachary Greco of Florida. She is also survived by one sister, Sherrill Rose Ogden (Phillip) of Canton, Ga., many nieces and nephews, and one kitty, Tuffy, who provided comfort beside her until the end.
Lucretia graduated from Natural Bridge High School in 1958, and King University in Bristol, Tenn. She was employed as a contract specialist at Fort Eustis Army base and retired after 25 years of federal service.
A celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the VFW Post 1499.
Interment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
