He was born Nov. 9, 1949, a son of the late John Hutton Rhodenizer Sr. and Mary Louise Viar Rhodenizer.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of The Church of the Nazarene. He was a retired self-employed general contractor.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Taylor Rhodenizer; children, Jason R. Rhodenizer, Paige R. Huffman and Devin S. Rhodenizer; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and siblings, Connie Alexander, Stevie Rhodenizer and Susie Blackwell.

Amemorial service was conducted Nov. 8, at the Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene in Buena Vista by the Rev. Scott Beattie.

Arrangements were by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
