Linda Diana “MaMa” Jackson, 75, of Glasgow passed peacefully at home into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was born in Goshen on April 16, 1949 to the late Melvin A. Sampson and Bessie May Minter Sampson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Bonnie Sampson and a great-nephew, Devin Riley.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, David Michael Jackson; three sons, Robert Hinkle (Amy), Michael Bowden (Amber), and Christopher Jackson (Michelle); two brothers, Gerald & James Sampson; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and many other close relatives.

Linda served as director of the Valley Program for the Aging Services for more than 20 years. She was a long-time member of Glasgow Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, led Women’s Missions, and taught Sunday School and VBS. She absolutely loved her family and God even more. She never met a stranger and touched the lives of countless others. She was definitely our angel on Earth.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. William Thomas and the Rev. Wes Young. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Connections Plus Hospice, Inc.
