Dustin Rea Minnick, 39, of Troutville passed away Monday, November 18, 2024, with his family by his side. 

He was born May 13, 1985, in Lexington to Allen L. Minnick and Sheila Burner Minnick of Rockbridge Baths.

He battled a long, hard war with cancer and fought like a true warrior.

Dustin graduated VCU with a bachelor’s degree in art and sculpture.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Casey L. Minnick, and sister-in-law of Troutville and two very special little nieces.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with burial at EbenezerUnited MethodistChurch in Rockbridge Baths, with Michael Snider officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Harrison Funeral Home.
