Theresa Higgins Mays, 77, of Lexington, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024. 

 Born April 30, 1947, she was a daughter of Mattie Isabelle Miller Higgins and Samuel Robert Higgins Sr.

Also preceding her in death were her husband, Eldridge Foster Mays Sr., and all of her siblings.

Surviving are her children, Charlotte Mays, Cindy Hamilton (James), Andy Mays (Norma), and Eldie Mays; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Green Hill Cemetery by the Rev. David Bain.
