Daniel Alexander Kline, 81, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., passed away on Nov. 27, 2024.

He was born in Montgomery County, N.Y., to  John Kline and Lydia McKay Kline. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife a few short weeks before him on Oct. 14, 2024, Mary Rice Kline.

Daniel “Dan” is survived by his children, William Kline and his wife, Melanie; Kimberly Ryan and her husband, Noel; Daniel Kline and Michael Kline; his grandchildren, Zoe Kline, D’artagnan Kline, Breckin Kline, Ethan Kline, Tyler Wallace and Travis Wallace and his two sisters, Emily Kline and Barbara Javarone.

The family will have a memorial service for Daniel and his wife Mary on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services, 731 Roanoke Ave., Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, 27870.
