Thomas Nelson Obaugh, 79, of Verona, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023. 

He was born January 11, 1944, in Augusta County, the son of the late Ray Obaugh and Kerlyn Baber Obaugh.

Thomas worked for many years for Charlie Obaugh as a car salesman.  Also he owned and worked on his farm and belonged to many different Ruritan Clubs.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Charlot and husband Winfred Charlot.

Also surviving are his wife of 29 years, Phyllis Obaugh; son, Michael Obaugh and wife, Lee; grandchildren, Jason Scott Helmick and wife, Shavon, Christopher Charlot, Kaylee Obaugh and Maxwell Obaugh; one great grandson, Ryan Lee Culpeper; brother, Charlie Obaugh; special friend, Pierre Melki; and many other loving family members. 

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. W. David Bain officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
