TOMMYFLOYD

He was born May 7, 1938, in Rockbridge County the son of Robert Hamilton and Julia Floyd.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Rachel Lilly Floyd, and one great-grandchild.

Surviving are his children, Michael D. Floyd (Brenda), Darren L. Floyd and Stephanie F. O’Neal (Mark); nine grandchildren, Bruce Worth, Ethan Floyd, Mark O’Neal Jr., Matt O’Neal, Jeffrey O’Neal, Nathan O’Neal, Lydia Floyd, Grant Floyd and Brayden Floyd; eleven greatgrandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Alice Dorey, Brenda Pooley, Carl Moore, Lynn and Dewey Tyree.

The funeral was conducted Saturday, Jan. 25, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Dean King. Burial followed at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
