Born Feb. 16, 1941, she was a daughter of Estel Franklin Potter and Stella Frances Moore Potter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Lee Ruley Sr. and son, Frankie Lee Ruley Jr.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Markus Ruley (Stacey), George “Kaleb” Ruley (Brittany), Dillon Ruley and Darren Ruley (Tori); great-grandchildren that she called her “special angel babies” Asher-Lee, Kayden, Kole and Karter; and sister, Carol “Janette” Graves. Also surviving are her special friend, Linda Abbot, and special niece, Susan Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at Kerrs Creek Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Kerrs Creek Fire Department, 2880 W. Midland Trail, Lexington, VA 24450.
