Barbara Hall Hunter, 74, of RockbridgeCounty, passed away on Jan. 27, 2025, with family by her side. Born on Oct. 30, 1950, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Patricia and William “Buddy” Hall.

Barbara lived for family. She found her greatest joy in gathering with loved ones, sharing laughs and creating memories. She loved unconditionally and was always there for those who needed her. Her love of Christmas was contagious -- she brought warmth and cheer to every holiday, making it a time of love and celebration for all. She also had an appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, like a beautiful sunset, the sound of the ocean, and children laughing.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Hunter; her children, Charley (Christine) Hunter and AJ (Andrew) Davidson; and her beloved grandchildren, Jackson, Cyrus, Cole, Thomas, Holcomb and Hunter. Barbara also leaves behind her devoted siblings, Donna (Mike) Young, Lisa (Burr) Datz, Billy Hall, Blair (Ruth) Hall, and Clifford (Carol) Hall, as well as cherished nieces and nephews.

Her family loves deeply, and she will be dearly missed. They find comfort in knowing that Barbara's legacy of love, joy, and togetherness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor her life at Kerrs CreekBaptist Church on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 12:30 p.m.
