Eugene Orden Durham, 92, of Buena Vista, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025. 

He was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Kingsport, Tenn., the son of the late Broaddus Durham and Thelma Miller Durham.

He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sadie Huffman Durham, and brothers, Thomas Miller, Danny Durham, Francis Durham and Paul Durham.

Eugene served in the U. S. Army and retired from Burlington Industries after 44 years of employment.

Surviving are his son, Paul McNeil Durham; three grandchildren, Heather Durham, Kelly Shafer and husband Cody, and Jeremy Durham; one great-grandchild, Andrew Johnson; and sister, Betty Clark and husband Thurman. 

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Ralph Coleman. Burial will follow at Rockbridge MemorialGardens. 

Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.
