He was born Jan. 4, 1946, a son of the late Aubrey Nathaniel Link and Edith Virginia Smith Link.
Surviving are his siblings, Gladys V. Link, Dennis A. Link (Cheryl), and Linda L. Wood; and a special brother, Gomez Lee.
Dave enjoyed working on farm machinery and automobiles.
A graveside service was conducted Monday, Feb. 10, at High Bridge Presbyterian Cemetery by the Rev. Timothy Madison and the Rev. Steve Willis.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the High Bridge Presbyterian Scholarship Fund, 67 High Bridge Church Road, Natural Bridge, VA 24578.
Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory.
RONALD LYMAN MADISON NG
Ronald Lyman Madison, 83, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Jasper Lyman Madison and Frances Kidd Madison, and his brother Gregory Robin Madison.
He was a career truck driver and a friend to all.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 44 years Linda Grim Madison, two children, Stephanie Coffey (Carlyle) of Lexington, Virginia, and Timothy Madison (Janet) of Mechanicsville, Virginia. He is also survived by four grandchildren, James Coffey (Tonya), Amanda Henry (Wayne), Joshua Madison (Erin), Courtney Madison (Dan), and six great grandchildren Addi, Sara, Eric, Hallie, Georgia and M.J.; as well as a brother Tom Madison (June), and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
A Visitation will be held 4:006:00 pm, Monday, February 3, 2025 at Simpsons Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Rd., Roanoke, Virginia where a funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. With interment to follow at 1:00 pm in The High Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 67 High Bridge Church Rd., Natural Bridge, Virginia.

EUGENEDURHAM
Eugene Orden Durham, 92, of Buena Vista, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025.
He was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Kingsport, Tenn., the son of the late Broaddus Durham and Thelma Miller Durham.
He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sadie Huffman Durham, and brothers, Thomas Miller, Danny Durham, Francis Durham and Paul Durham.
Eugene served in the U. S. Army and retired from Burlington Industries after 44 years of employment.
Surviving are his son, Paul McNeil Durham; three grandchildren, Heather Durham, Kelly Shafer and husband Cody, and Jeremy Durham; one greatgrandchild, Andrew Johnson; and sister, Betty Clark and husband Thurman.
A funeral was conducted Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Ralph Coleman. Burial followed at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements were handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
