KENNETH FLOYD
KENNETH FLOYD
Born Jan. 1, 1953, in Lexington, he was a son of Mildred Southers Floyd and Harry Marshall Floyd.
Kenny retired from Rockbridge County in 2011 after over 20 years of service. He was a member of the Monacan Indian Nation, proud of his heritage, loved to fish and was a proud fan of NASCAR and the Washington Commanders.
In addition to his father, Kenny was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Snider Floyd, and brother, Barry Floyd.
Surviving are his mother Mildred Floyd; children Kenneth Floyd Jr. (Jen) and Christy Hensley (Michael); grandchildren Mercy (Kevin), Kimmie (Travis), Mikey (Trinity), April, Cassy, Cadence, Logan and Lucca; great-grandchildren Tyler and Sophia; sisters Sharon Moulton, Brenda Floyd (Jodi) and Beverly Diane Worthington; brother-in-law and best bud, Bernard Moulton; numerous nieces, nephews and his faithful companion Duke.
A funeral service was conducted Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Harrison Funeral Home. Burial followed at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements were by Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory. NG
