She was born May 19, 1966, the daughter of Roy Henry Martin and Anita Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Merchant.

Karen worked in housekeeping for various hotels before becoming a full-time homemaker. Karen loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved helping friends and neighbors. Her gentle spirit and giving heart will be sorely missed.

Surviving are her children, Gabriel (Samantha), Loretta, and Cassie (Jared); brother Roy Martin Jr. (Pam); significant other, Red; grandchildren Alyssah, Caren and Brayden; bonus grandchildren Alyssah, and Maya; friends Bonnie and Angie; nieces Shana and Cierra; and nephew Ryan.

As per her wishes, she has been cremated. There will be no services at this time. NG
