James Albert “June” Ruley, 83, of Buena Vista, died Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his home.

Born Jan. 14, 1942, he was a son of the late Albert Miller Ruley and Ruth Armentrout Ruley.

James retired from Burlington Industries and he found much love and joy in cars, cigarettes, coffee and Jeopardy.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Rhodenizer Ruley; daughters, Angie R. Perkins and Sharon R. Austin; grandchildren, Brittany Ramsey, Katelyn Austin, Lindsey Austin and Anissa Perkins; great-grandchildren, Danica Ramsey, Kaysen Ramsey, Kendra Ramsey and River Jacob.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by Dorsey Hostetter.  Burial will follow at Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
