Brenda Carol Ramsey of Natural Bridge Station, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lexington on July 31, 1948. 

Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her. 

She is survived by her brother Jimmy George of Salem and sister-in-law Rita Wells of Staunton.

She was the beloved wife of Ronald Lee Ramsey Sr. of 59 years and a cherished mother to her four children, Melanie Slough (John), Jeannie Hamm (Larry), Carol Perry (Bobby), and Ron Ramsey Jr. (Jennifer). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Ashley (Joey), Hillary, Drake, Joshua, Katlyn, Taylor (Robbie), Hayley, Ryan, Amanda, and Janie. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Kyle, Oliver, Pasley, Charlotte, Noah, Kolson, Cohen, and Camden.

Brenda’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her family, her generous spirit, and the joy she found in simple moments. She left a lasting impact on those around her through her words of wisdom, her comforting presence, and the laughter she shared. Her memory will forever be treasured by her family and friends, who find comfort in the love she gave so freely. 

A service to honor Brenda’s life will be held at Buena Vista PentecostalHoliness Church on Friday, March 21.  The visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. with the service following at 5 p.m. 

Brenda’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
