Patricia Anne Broderson, formerly Patricia Anne Fennell, of Buena Vista went to be with the Lord on Feb. 7, 2023, surrounded by priests and loved ones.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Leona Fennell; and her brother, Thomas Fennell She was born on March 10, 1942, in Rosemount, Minn. Her parents were William and Leona Fennell and she was the second born of three children. She was born and raised Catholic and continued to be a devote Catholic her whole life.

Her career spanned over 50 years as a medical transcriptionist, starting at the University of Minnesota. She worked for many hospitals, as well as some special and dear neurologists.

Patricia enjoyed listening to Neil Diamond. One of her favorite hobbies was seeing him live at the Greek Theater. After retirement, she found an old love, bingo, and enjoyed playing with all her friends and neighbors at the Vista Apartments.

She dedicated and devoted her life to her children, then grandchildren, and then greatgrandchildren. She sacrificed for them and was always there 24/7 for guidance, support, and assistance. Patricia loved to love, especially her family. She is loved by many, and anyone who knew her loved her.

She is survived by her sister, Anita Bottiger and her husband Jerry Bottiger; her sister-in law, Georgine Fennell; her children, Lisa Marie Broderson and Steven Philip Broderson; her grandchildren, Jennifer Laura Painter and fiancée Jeb Bronson, Rebekah Marie Wright and husband Michael Wright, Brandon Broderson, and Steven Shelton and fiancée Cheyenne Schlosser; her great-grandchildren, Peyton Andrew Matz, Andrew Lowell Gregory Schages, Nikki Lorraine Garcia, Tinsley Marie Laekyn Wright, and Charlie Marie Shelton.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center CCU staff for their outstanding level of care in such a difficult time.

At this time, the family will have a private memorial at a later date. N-G
