Born April 6, 1951, in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of Dewey Floyd and Julia Mays Floyd.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Stevie and Sammy Floyd.

Surviving are her husband, Jim Kershner, and her son, Stephen, and her two beloved dogs, Patty and Lulu.

A private service will be held at a later date.
